Arcadia London Announces Tenth Anniversary Celebrations in May 2018

Marking their tenth anniversary, Arcadia will be bringing two of electronic music’s most well-known brands to London’s Olympic Park in May 2018, during the May Day bank holiday weekend.

Organisers have confirmed that the almighty Leftfield and iconic drum and bass imprint RAM Records will both be getting involved in serving Arcadia London ticketholders up some delectable sonic delights.

Leftfield are potentially one of the most important electronic acts to have come out of the UK, having formed in 1989 as a duo consisting of Neil Barnes and Paul DaleyDaley resurrected the Leftfield name as a solo project back in 2010, and the past seven years have seen a third studio album, Alternative Light Souce, as well as the 21st anniversary of their debut album, Leftism.

Saturday, May 5th will have a distinct house and techno flavour, and so it makes sense that Leftfield will be headlining that day, with a show that covers some of their most recognisable tracks from the past 32 years.

Saturday, May 6th offers bass-heads a chance to let loose, with Ram Records manning the ship on headline duties. The record label was launched back in 1992 and is manned by drum and bass producer, Andy C. It is likely to be pretty obvious, in such a case, that the label has championed some of d&b’s most well-known, and prolific, producers and DJs.

Not content with just bringing you amazing sound, the spectacular visuals tailored by Arcadia organisers are sure to take your breath away, especially if giant fire-breathing spiders are your thing! Tickets are available on general release as of December 8th.

Arcadia London takes place May 5th-6th at London Olympic Park. For the full line-up, photos, videos and ticket information head over to our Arcadia London Festival page.
