Arctic Monkeys To Headline Barcelona’s Primavera Sound Festival
Firmly established as one of Europe’s most respected music festivals, Barcelona’s Primavera Sound is well-known for attracting the most sought-after artists in the business.
Now, after weeks of teasing, the festival have finally revealed who’ll be performing at this year’s event, and it’s safe to say they’ve lived up to their reputation.
Arctic Monkeys, who are set to return to the live circuit this summer with a brand new album, have been confirmed as this year’s headliners, along with Björk, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The National, Migos, Lorde and A$AP Rocky.
Taking place between May 30th and June 3rd 2018, the main music arena is located at the Parc del Fòrum. Ticket holders are, however, also encouraged to explore the rest Barcelona, as the festival will be hosting an extensive programme of workshops, conferences, talks and film screenings at various venues across the city.
If the dates don’t suit you, then no problem! Primavera has a sister festival which takes place in Portugal, meaning fans have an option regarding the destination they choose to enjoy their festival sunshine. There’ll be more details and line-up info on this soon.
