Baltic Weekender Confirms Nina Kraviz and More for 2019
Liverpool’s biggest metropolitan dance music festival returns in 2019, bringing with it some of the most celebrated names in electronic music.
The two-day epic will include a selection of huge names from house, techno, and all electronic gubbins that sits in-between.
The incredible Nina Kraviz has just been announced for a special opening show, taking place on May 31st, which will see her heading to Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle for what is undoubtedly going to be a techno masterclass from the Siberian sorceress.
The festival is a joint effort from two of the cities most favoured promoters – Abandon Silence and 24 Kitchen Street – and so it is pretty much a given that their line-up will be off the chart in all respects. This is confirmed by the sneak peek they have given us this week, with plenty more artists being added over the coming few days from the day of writing, on February 27th.
The opening concert is also set to feature the brilliant Special Request, who has seen his productions affiliated with both Detroit’s Planet E, and Scuba’s iconic Hotflush Records. Southampton electro and techno leading lady, IMOGEN, will also be menacing the decks at the opening party. In addition, you can also catch a performance by rising star, Alexis.
