Bestival Announces Monumental 2018 Line-Up

One of the bastions of the British festival season, Bestival, have announced their line-up for their 2018 event, and by god have they pushed the boat out this year.

With the likes of London Grammar confirmed for a UK exclusive headline spot, and Jorja Smith climbing on board to, you can really see, from the first wave of artists to be announced, that they have an outstanding event organised.

The festival takes place at the Lulworth Estate, in Dorset; the location was completely re-thought as of 2017’s festival, ditching the previous Isle of Wight site for the current venue. The festival is pencilled in for August 2nd – 5th so, all being good, the sun gods will be shining down on us for the duration.

In addition to the aforementioned acts, there are plenty of other top quality artists on offer at the event. The Castle Stage will be welcoming M.I.AGrace JonesThundercat, and Chaka Demus & Pliers among many others.

The Big Top has some belter acts too. Charlotte De Witte, Belgium’s latest techno export, will be holding court, while Holy Goof and Django Django are also going to be taking charge.

The Temple will feature a headline set by Rudimental, who will be joined by another of Belgium’s techno gems, Amelie LensBicepFlava D, and Nastia will also be there ripping it up.

You had better get your sea-legs ready as HMS Bestival sets sail, with Faithless captaining the ship. They’ll be enlisting the help of Jaguar Skills and the Stanton Warriors to ensure that your cruise runs smoothly.

Elsewhere we have slots filled by the likes of GoldieVic Reeves (who will be throwing down a reggae set, no less – presumably without the help of the Dove from Above), David Rodigan, and Hot Chip. This is only the first wave of announcements too, so you might wanna keep your peepers peeled for more as the come in.
