Bilbao BBK Live Line-up: The Strokes, Thom Yorke, Brockhampton & More Announced
Bilbao BBK Live returns to the picturesque Kobetamendi Mountaintop for its 14th edition in July 2019, and is set to feature an incredible variety of international artists including The Strokes, Thom Yorke and Brockhampton.
Previous incarnations of the European festival have included top names, including Placebo, Metallica, Asian Dub Foundation, Slayer, The Chemical Brothers, and 2ManyDJs. If there is one thing that can be said with certainty, it is that Bilbao BBK Live represents diversity.
This year sees artists from across national and international scenes setting foot on the Bilbao BBK festival stages. The Strokes will be kicking off their ‘global comeback’ tour at the event, having been out of action since April 2017 when they performed at Leopallooza Chile.
Weezer have previously been confirmed as playing the event, and they will be joined, over the three days, by a selection of artists including Suede, Brockhampton, Idles, Thom Yorke performing one of his mesmerising solo sets, US rapper Princess Nokia, and Nils Frahm.
On a more local level, ticketholders can enjoy a performance from Catalan flamenco artist, Rosalia, who picked up two awards at 2018’s Latin Grammy awards, having been nominated for no less than five! On a similarly latin tip, we also have performances from Argentinian experimental artist, Nathy Peluso, while Ms Nina will be bringing her Spanish take on reggaeton and trap to the festival. Bilbao BBK 2019 will also feature performances from Sleaford Mods, John Grant, Shame, and Slaves.
With tickets starting at 125€ for a three-day pass (140€ with a camping pass) we are absolutely certain that they will be flying out, so we suggest grabbing yours quick if the idea of a mountainside Spanish festival appeals to you.
