Bloodstock Announce First Acts and Earlybird Tickets for 2018 Festival

Bloodstock Festival organisers are wasting no time in getting ready for next year’s festival. They have only just wrapped up proceedings at their 2017 leg, which saw metal giants Ghost headlining, alongside Amon Amarth and Megadeth.

The event, which took place at Catton Park, Derbyshire, on August 9th-12th, saw a huge array of the biggest names on the metal scene joined by a host of local and unsigned acts, who all came together for three days of moshing mayhem.

Everything obviously went swimmingly, as early bird tickets for next year’s festival have already been placed on general sale! You can grab yours now from the Bloodstock tickets page, which is based on their website. Information on tickets can be found via the link at the bottom of this page.

Bloodstock Festival clearly prides itself on securing the most in-demand acts from the cream of the metal crop, and 2018 is already shaping up to be a heavy one as the organisers have confirmed two acts who will be causing chaos in Catton for 2018 festival goers.

First up we have Finnish symphonic metal band, Nightwish. The Finnish six-piece will be heading to Bloodstock with 20 years experience under their belts and as Finlands (certified) third most successful metal export, you are pretty much guaranteed a spectacular show when they take to the stage.

Our second confirmed act is Grammy nominated French metal band, Gojira. The quartet expertly melds together a sublime mixture of progressive metal, with doom, thrash, and death metal thrown in for good measure. If this doesn’t get you excited then nothing will!

Bloodstock takes place on Thursday 9th-Sunday 12th August at Catton Hall, Walton On Trent, South Derbyshire.

Early bird tickets are available to buy HERE.
