Boomtown Announces Halloween Event at New Bristol Venue

Following on from Boomtown’s spectacular 11th chapter, the festival’s organisers have announced a Halloween spin-off at their brand new Bristol venue.

Named after Boomtown’s Area 404 district, the 3,500-capacity event space will open its doors to the public for the first time on Saturday 2 November, promising all manner of Halloween oddities.

60,000 revellers descended upon South West’s biggest pop-up city earlier this month as Ms Lauryn Hill, Prophets of Rage and The Streets delivered huge headlining sets at the Town Centre. Meanwhile, Carl Cox, Four Tet and Amelie Lens led the line-up at Area 404’s Boomtown debut, injecting a long-overdue dose of house and techno into proceedings.

The line-up for November’s Halloween edition is yet to be announced, but with artists spread across five seperate rooms its safe to assume that the event will cover the many facets of high-energy music that have become synonymous with Boomtown Fair.

Tickets go on sale this Thursday, 29 August. You can pre-register for these on the Ticket Fairy website.
