British Summer Time Hyde Park Reveals 2018 Open House Programme
This July, Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park is set to welcome a collection of the world’s biggest names for an incredible two weekends of live music.
Weekend one will feature headlining performances from Roger Waters, The Cure and Eric Clapton, before Michael Bublé, Bruno Mars and Paul Simon take to the stage the following weekend.
And now to top it all off, the organisers have thrown in a huge programme of free activities to fill the days in between.
As part of the festival’s OPEN HOUSE series, the weekdays of Monday 9th July – Thursday 12th July will feature a wonderful variety of free summer activities.

FREE OUTDOOR CINEMA
MONDAY – THURSDAY
SCREENINGS AT 5:30 & 8:30
Back by extremely popular demand, BST Hyde Park will be welcoming along 2,000 visitors for a series of themed movie nights.
From 80’s throwbacks such as Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Flash Gordon through to modern classics like The Grand Budapest Hotel, OPEN HOUSE will be screening two films per day.
Entry is free on a first-come-first-served basis. Headphones are provided.
WIMBLEDON TENNIS SCREENINGS
MONDAY – THURSDAY, FROM 12PM
No need to be stuck inside watching the tennis this summer, as BST’s OPEN HOUSE will be screening them live at Hyde Park.
The free Wimbledon Championship coverage begins at 12pm through until the end of play. Just pack a picnic blanket, grab a spot on the grass and you’re ready to catch all of the action.
LIVE MUSIC AT THE BARCLAYCARD STAGE
MONDAY-THURSDAY, 4PM – 10.30PM
There will be free music on Open House’s Barclaycard Stage, featuring sets from House Gospel Choir, London Gay Big Band and Daytoner.
Presented by ITV’s Arielle Free, the music will run from 4pm – 10:30pm each evening.

Wednesday: London Gay Men’s Chorus, Temple Funk Collective
Thursday: House Gospel Choir, Old Dirty Bastards
HIP-HOP BINGO & BOGAN BINGO @ THE CARNIVAL STAGE
MONDAY – THURSDAY, 7:45PM – 8:45PM
Strap in and prepare to experience the wacky world of Bogan Bingo; a unique night of entertainment mixing classic 80s anthems, spectacular prizes, appalling choreography and two mulleted Aussie bingo callers.
Meanwhile The Carnival Stage will also be bringing you Hip Hop Bingo! Hosted by the charming New Yorker Grandma Flash and her 87-year-old lover, they call the numbers and drop the beats old school style in this brilliantly fun night out.
STREET FOOD MARKET & POP-UP BARS
MONDAY – THURSDAY, 12PM – 10PM
Featuring culinary delights from across the world, the OPEN HOUSE Street Food Market will be on hand when it’s time to take a break from the activities.
You can also cool off in the summer sun with a draft & craft beer, wine, spirits or a cocktail at the pop-up bars, which will be serving from 12pm onwards.
