Cocoon in the Park Reveals 2018 Line-up
The annual Northern techno mecca that is Cocoon in the Park has heralded its 2018 return by today releasing the first phase of their line-up for this year’s edition.
Taking place on July 14th at Temple Newsham Park, in Leeds, the festival, headed by Sven Väth, promises to bring some of techno’s biggest names to the Yorkshire city.
Celebrating its tenth year, the draw will be even more powerful than preceding years, both in terms of ticket demand and the calibre of artist invited to man the decks. Obviously, Papa Sven will be taking control – it is his festival, after all – but ticketholders will be treated to some class acts aside from the man himself.
Apollonia will be serving up a delightful dose of their triple-header house. The trio, combining the talents of Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom, and Shonky, tend to lay down a more relaxed vibe, so perfect late-afternoon/early evening fodder.
In addition, Seth Troxler will be going back to back with Craig Richards. Anyone who knows these two (and if you’re a Cocoon aficionado, then you REALLY should), will know that they are in for quite the ride as the pair explore their collectively vast musical intellect.
Berlin-based sound pioneers, Tale of Us, will be on hand to deliver their melodic, brooding take on electronic music, as will Fuse favourite, Enzo Siragusa, who goes b2b2b with Archie Hamilton and Rossko. They will be joined by Annie Errez and Bobby Odonnell.
