Creamfields Welcomes Carnavale to 2017 Festival
With only two months to go before the 2017 leg of the famous Northern dance music festival kicks off, Creamfields has announced the inclusion of a brand new arena for the four-day shindig.
The electronic music behemoth, which originates from a warehouse in Liverpool waaaay back in the 90’s, has announced that Carnavale will be bringing all manner of colourful sights and sounds to the event. Not only does this mean a new space in which revellers can enjoy themselves, but it also means a whole host of new artists will be joining the madness.
The Carnavale arena is set to be led by a Brazilian samba drum collective, complete with carnival dancers to bring a touch of South American sass to the stage. Once the opening spectacle is out of the way, it is time to get down to business and let the DJs do what they do best – rock the party.
Line-up additions include was-dubstep-now-techno producer, Skream, who will be joined by tech-house producer, Butch. Also welcomed to the DJ booth will be Latmun, Bontan, Liverpool’s Lauren Lo Sung, and Cream resident, Anthony Probyn, who was there ‘when it all began’.
The festival will still undoubtedly be delighted that they won Best Major Festival at the recent UK Festival Awards, which saw them pipping some serious heavyweights to the post, including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, and Isle of Wight festivals. This was the first time an electronic music festival has been awarded the ‘Best Major’ gong. Congratulations to them!
The new additions to the line-up will be joining the likes of Annie Mac, Deadmau5 & Eric Prydz, Alan Fitzpatrick, and Maya Jane Coles, all of whom have previously been confirmed.
Creamfields Festival takes place 24 – 27 August at Daresbury, Cheshire. For the full line-up, photos, videos and ticket information head over to our Creamfields Festival page.
