Festival No.6 Announces Franz Ferdinand and Friendly Fires Headline Slots, Plus More
Festival No.6 has, since inception, been one of those events that continues to push the envelope. Not only in terms of the artists who are curated by the team behind the project, but also in terms of production. Turning a heritage site into a festival location is no mean feat and yet the organisers of Festival No.6 have managed it year-upon-year. Offering hidden gems all over Portmeirion, Festival No.6 continues to thrive at the very zenith point of the festival scene.
Organisers had, prior to today, confirmed that The The would be playing this year’s foray. Indeed they are, with a headline spot to boot. Joining them in carrying the headline mantle are Franz Ferdinand, don’t you know, and the Friendly Fires will also be topping the bill.
Also gracing the venerated No.6 stages will be Everything Everything, Jessie Ware, The Charlatans, The Horrors and Tom Williams. If electronic music is your thing, then there are plenty of DJ’s ready to set the dancefloor alight, with the likes of Kenny Dope, Roy Davis Jr., Erol Alkan, and Luke Solomon all taking to the decks. Reggae will also be represented by the mighty Don Letts and Trojan Records Sound System.

The festival offers much more than what they release in their line-up announcements, though. Expect the unexpected as you wander around the festival site, as you are likely to encounter secret pop-up stages throughout the duration of the festival, with all manner of surprise artists belting out a tune or two.
Tickets for Festival No.6 go on sale tomorrow (February 14th. How romantic.). We suggest you get online, with a very secure internet connection, as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, as the festival is now well known for bringing the internet to a halt as fans clamour for tickets.
