Club to Club Turin 2018 FESTIVAL IS...18+ / Electronic / Indoor
Club to Club returns to Turin in November, bringing with it a selection of avant-garde pop and electronic acts.
Further pushing itself as THE avant-garde festival at which to be seen, Turin's Club to Club festival returns this November, taking place at three separate venues in the iconic Italian cultural epicentre; Lingotto, Officine Grande Riparazioni, and the majestic Palace of Venaria.
The festival promises one of the best line-ups that Europe has to offer, this year, with a wide range of illustrious artists confirmed.
Turin is famed the world over for its cultural importance. It goes without saying that any festival that takes place in the city is going to be brimming with Italian nonsoché, and Club to Club 2018 is absolutely no exception to this rule, as it features a wealth of avant-garde and leftfield pop and electronic artists at some truly stunning locations.
The festival takes place over three localities in the Northern Italian city. The Palace of Venaria provides a majestic backdrop to the proceedings it will be hosting, while the OGR, which was only completed last year, is a multi-functional exhibition space, giving the festival a more modern feel. The city’s industrial history is also acknowledged, as Lingotto will provide a warehouse-style vibe to the event.
In terms of artists, you have plenty to choose from. Most exciting is the fact that Aphex Twin is set to headline the event and, on the back of his recent Collapse EP, we are sure this will be one hell of a show, both in terms of audio and visuals (especially if the Collapse video is anything to go by. Club to Club has a great deal to offer, and in a stunning setting; definitely something to consider if you like your festivals with a European twist.
