The family-friendly Coventry Godiva Festival is back this July for another long weekend of great live music and summer fun.

Last year’s festival attracted more than 148,000 visits over the course of the weekend, making it the UK’s biggest free family music festival.

The festival’s music acts are spread across the Main Stage, the Rock/Rhythm Tent, The Acoustic Stage and the Paradise Tent – which features a silent disco, theatre and comedy.

There are also food stalls, bars and craft stalls. The family field features a huge range of activities for kids, including a funfair.

This year’s headliners are The Stranglers on Friday, Example & DJ Wire on Saturday, and The Darkness on Sunday, rounding off what is set to be another fantastic event.

Meanwhile the Rock Tent will be headlined by Mallory Knox and the Rhythm Tent by Tom Clarke.

Other acts to appear over the course of the weekend include Kate Nash, Lucy Spraggan, The Amazons, Carl Barât & The Jackals, Cast and Alabama 3 Acoustic.
