Glasgow Summer Sessions returns to in August 2019, with a roster covering metal, indie, and rock.
August 16th-17th sees the 2019 edition of Summer Sessions hitting Glasgow's Bellahouston Park, along with some exciting names heading up the top spots, with equally impressive support acts in tow. Fans of post-rock, gothic indie, and rock & roll - get involved!
2019 is a big one for Glasgow, as the impressive Glasgow Summer Sessions heads back to Bellahouston Park. 2018 set the bar high, as we saw Kings of Leon, Catfish & The Bottlemen, and Kendrick Lamar wowing audiences at the Scottish shindig. 2019 looks to surpass last year, with some huge names confirmed.
August 16th will be headlined by The Cure. The gothic rockers are well-known for their classic tracks Friday, I’m in Love and Boys Don’t Cry, which lie among a back-catalogue of equally sing-along-able fayre. They are joined by post-rock outfit, Mogwai, The Twilight Sad, and The Joy Formidable.
The 17th sees the almighty Foo Fighters hitting the top spot. The Dave Grohl-led American rock band are famed for their high-octane live performances – perfect for festivals! At the time of writing, no additions had been made to the Foos line-up. Keep your eyes on NextFest for updates…
