The upmarket festival returns to Oxon in 2019, delivering a veritable feast of art, food, comedy, and pop music.
July 2019 sees the glamorous Henley Festival back for its 37th year running, having started back in 1983. The festival marries together high-brow art, delicious cuisine, and (of course) some of the best names in music.
If you are seeking a more refined festival experience, then it is likely that the Henley Festival will be a surefire hit. The annual event, which takes place at a stunning location – the River and Rowing Museum at Henley On Thames – plays host to an upmarket crowd, entertaining its guests with gastronomical delights, side-splitting comedy acts, art installations, and a wide variety of artists from across the pop music genre.
2018 saw some tremendous artists landing on the Henley Festival stages, from Rita Ora, through to Nile Rogers and Chic, stopping off for a touch of Grace Jones along the way. If that doesn’t whet your appetite then we don’t know what will. The line-up for 2019 is yet to be announced, but we have no doubt that it will be equally as impressive as prior instalments.
There is also an extensive comedy bill at Henley, with the laughs provided by comedians such as Rob Brydon and Phill Jupitus taking turns at doubling you up, while you can also enjoy a wide range of delicious food, provided by some of the best chefs in the industry, making Henley Festival a real standout occasion. The festival has a strict black tie dress-code, so dust of the evening wear as you won’t be wearing your wellies to this one.
