The International Composers Festival returns for its fourth year; a unique, one-of-a-kind festival that exists nowhere else in the world.

The three-day event brings Hastings some of the finest classical talent on offer, both in terms of established composers with an impressive set of compositions already under their belts, to emerging composers who are just finding their feet in the modern classical music sphere.

Running from Friday, September 21st to Sunday September 23rd, 2018, The International Composers Festival is split into four separate events; a Grand Opening Concert; a Chamber Concert; a Film Concert; and culminating with a Family Concert which will include a premiere performance of The Crane’s Wife ballet.

Composers are able to submit their work for approval by the festival, in order that they may be performed by one of the three ‘in-house’ ensembles, including the International Festival Symphony Orchestra, the Children’s Festival Choir, and the International Festival Chorus.
