2018 sees Leopallooza entering its 12th consecutive year, and the festival will be celebrating their duodecimal year with one of America's most prominent artists of recent years; Kelis.
Proudly exclaiming that it is, in fact, "The greatest house party...in a field...", the festival sets off on Friday 27th July and comes to a close on Sunday 29th July.
Taking place in The Wyldes, which is an area of farmland based on Lower Exe Farm, a string of established musicians are gearing up to perform alongside up-and-coming artists, comedians, and much more entertainment than you could shake a Cornish Pastie at.
With a string of hits under her belt, including the 2003 chart smash, Milkshake, Kelis has collaborated with some of the industry’s best, including the likes of Pharrel, ODB, and Calvin Harris.
In addition to musical announcements, Leopallooza have announced that they will be featuring several new areas at the festival this year. Comedy fans will be catered for at The Funny Side, which will feature performances from Russell Kane and Josh Widdicombe.
The Rogue Theatre will host storytelling for people of all ages, while Shi Shi Za Karaoke Bar will be doing exactly what it says on the tin. There will even be a little tiny nightclub, Dinkies, which will fit only a handful of dancers inside it.
