Liam Gallagher at Finsbury Park 2018 FESTIVAL IS...Field / Indie / Rock / Urban
Liam Gallagher heads to London's Finsbury Park in June 2018.
You know there is something big on the cards when one of the biggest names in British rock history announces a new debut solo album, let alone drops the news that he'll be performing a huge concert in the capital.
Liam Gallagher, former lead singer of Oasis and Beady Eye, has done just that. In an exclusive interview with Radio X‘s Johnny Vaughan, Gallagher announced that on 29 June 2018 he will be performing at what sounds to be more of an all day festival than simply a plain old concert.
According to early drafts of the festival poster, “many many more artists” are yet to be added to what will undoubtedly be a killer roster, especially given the draw a name like Liam Gallagher will be to potential support acts.
Gallagher is well known for living like a true rock and roll star, and embodies that rebellious ethos both on and off the stage. It is his dontgiveaf**k attitude that allows him to embody the rock spirit and keep his followers entertained, be that via his singing and songwriting, or via his very colourful Twitter feed.
Tickets go on sale at 9 am on Friday 27th October. Be quick though, this is the kind of event where ticket sales break the whole internet and are gone within four minutes, so don’t be hanging fire thinking you’ll be good for tickets, they will sell like hot cakes.
