Mad Cool Festival 2019 FESTIVAL IS...Multi-Genre
The Spanish festival returns for its fourth outing in 2019, bringing with it artists from the indie, rock, and electronic spectrums.
Madrid's biggest and best festival takes place from 11 - 13 July, and features performances from some of the biggest names in contemporary music for three days of spellbinding sound and spectacle.
Headlining the Thursday we have American indie-folk band, Bon Iver. Having garnered critical acclaim back in 2007 with the release of the band’s debut album, For Emma, Forever Ago, they are a highly sought after festival favourite and a perfect headliner for the opening day.
Friday sees two headliners. The recently reformed The Smashing Pumpkins and Ohio rock band, The National.
Saturday will be headlined by The Cure, who will be bringing their infamous gothic rock stylings to close the festival out. With favourites including Friday, I’m in Love, Boys Don’t Cry, and In Between Days, it is a surefire certainty that the band are going to prove a massive draw to this year’s Mad Cool.
