Set in the woodland gardens of an ancient stately home in South East Cornwall, Port Eliot Festival offers a rich variety of art, entertainment, music, literature, poetry, comedy, fashion and film.

Originally set up in 2003 as the Eliot Lit Fest, the festival has expanded to include so many different attractions that it defies categorization. You don’t have to be a literary enthusiast or a music fan to enjoy this wonderfully eccentric and creative festival.

The Port Eliot Estate is a visitor attraction in its own right, and a weekend ticket will allow you to pitch your tent in the stunning grounds for free.

If you want a bit more luxury, there are also yurts and tipis available to hire.
