Rock am Ring 2018 FESTIVAL IS...Metal / Rock
June 2018 sees Germany's Rock am Ring returning to the 150,000 capacity Nürburgring
This summer's event will be the festival's 33rd edition, and fans will be delighted with what the organisers have got in store for them.
First off, the festival is headlined by the almighty Foo Fighters. With hits spanning back to 1994, expect to hear classics such as Monkey Wrench, Learn to Fly and The Pretender, plus material from the recent Concrete and Gold album.
Also headlining are 30 Seconds To Mars, who aren’t short of experience when it comes to huge gigs. Jared Leto & co will arrive at Rock am Ring off the back of a huge European arena tour which sees them visiting 18 countries.
They’re joined on headlining duty by Daman Albarn‘s Gorillaz, who’ll be taking the crowd through the surreal world of their Humanz album.
Also making an appearance for fans of the old rock/hip-hop crossover, will be Bodycount featuring none other than Ice-T.
