Summer Daze 2018 FESTIVAL IS...14+ / Field
Summer Daze is a brand-new festival, showcasing some of the finest talents from the electronic music scene.
The Maltese festival, which takes place between 14th – 15th August, is the brainchild of those behind clubbing festival behemoth, Creamfields, and BBC Radio One Dance Stage.
The festival brings together all manner of awesome artists with a more commercial twist than many of the more underground dance festivals available.
Day one of the two-parter is actually completely free. It will feature performances from EDM star Martin Garrix, vocalist and singer-songwriter, Rita Ora, and Danny Howard of Nothing Else Matters fame. It is set to take place at Ta’ Qali National Park between 5 pm and 1 am.
Part two is equally as lofty in terms of artists playing. The hyper-energetic Roger Sanchez will be in effect with his uncompromising and unrivalled house sound. He will be supported by the brilliant Monki and Kristen Night. The second day takes place in the iconic Café Del Mar nightclub on Malta’s North-west coast.
There is even set to be an afterparty at Malta’s favourite nightspot, Uno, on the Tuesday, although the line-up there is still yet to be decided. Judging from what they have already released, though, things are set to be pretty special whatever news is forthcoming.
