Tropical Pressure Festival takes place 14th, 15th, 16th July, lighting up the Cornish coast with African, Latin & Caribbean music.
The festival features a packed programme of live music, dance and food, and when the party winds down visitors can camp in the Eco Park’s spacious grounds with views overlooking the sea.
Friday is dedicated to Latin America, Saturday is inspired by Africa, and Sunday is devoted to all things Caribbean.
The festival takes place across a 42 acre site, which includes two outdoor stages and indoor late night barn venue.
On top of a huge line-up of live performances there will be a wide variety of free workshops including singing, crafts, drumming and dance. You can also unwind at the Healing Space with treatments and yoga.
Tropical Pressure is extremely family friendly, and features kids’ activity areas, chill out areas, and Starry Skies Storytelling in the Cob Courtyard. Kids under 5 are admitted for free, while visitors aged between 5 and 15 pay half the price of an adult ticket.
The festival is 100% vegetarian with a World Street Food Marketing offering delicious, freshly prepared food from around the globe.
A weekend ticket gets you access to all the events taking place across the weekend, plus 3 nights’ camping at Mount Pleasant Eco Park, Porthtowan.
