Clapham Common's Christmas Festival returns with its 2018 excursion into pop, electronic music, arts, and entertainment.
2018 sees London's multi-faceted festival experience returning to Clapham Common with an array of choices for those seeking a bit of festive fun in the lead-up to Christmas, ranging from DJ sets and live music, through to ice skating, arts and crafts, comedy, and, of course, a good old bit of Mexican Wrestling.
2018 heralds the return of London’s magical Winterville Festival, which combines a genuinely diverse smorgasbord of entertainment that has enough to keep even the grinchiest of Scrooges grinning in the lead up to Christmas.
The seven-week festival features Melanie C, formerly Sporty Spice of Spice Girls fame, taking to the decks for a DJ set taking the form of a 90s mixtape. Also, on a musical tip, you have performances from Ultimate Power, London Gay Big Band, with DJ sets from some quite remarkable selectors, including Norman Jay, and DJ Yoda.
An ice rink, roller disco, craft fair, and more, give everyone the opportunity to let their hair down. If preferred, you could always head to the Backyard Cinema, or knock a few balls around at the Plonk Golf, a psychedelic take on the crazy golf tradition.
You can even get your grub on, as Street Feast open their oven doors once again, to feed to hungry population of the Winterville pop-up town.
