Field Day Drops Massive 2018 Line-up Announcement
London’s Field Day heads to a new venue in 2018 and brings with it a fairly hefty line-up.
The festival, which began as a two-day event, but dropped that down to one day, has been fully reinstated to its double-header status – welcome news, we are sure, for any fans of the event.
The festival is set to take place in Brockwell Park, near Brixton in South London, between June 1st – 2nd. Soul Queen, Erykah Badu, is set to headline the main stage, and no doubt her performance will bring fans, from far and wide, to Field Day. Celebrating 20 years of her debut album, Baduizm in 2017, we have no doubt that this will be an emotional headline slot.
The festival’s own dance tent, The Barn, will host some seriously talented electronic acts as well. Making its return on Saturday of the festival, the hangar-like structure will be welcoming the likes of uber-talent, Daniel Avery, alongside some other greats such as Nils Frahm, electro’s latest big news Helena Hauff, and techno mainstay, Jeff Mills, will be teaming up with Tony Allen for a b2b behind the wheels.
The festival will also be complete with a full food and drink programme to assist the hungry and thirsty festival-goers. For more info, head to our Field Day 2018 page.
