Field Trip Festival Announces Killer Electronic Line-Up for 2017
If electronic music is your preference, then you’ll undoubtedly be interested in checking out August’s Field Trip, which takes place in Somerset on 25th – 27th August (which is a bank holiday…nice!).
Gilcombe Farm is to be transformed from its usual agricultural hub into a mecca for the disciples of rave, as highly regarded electronic acts from across the world have been confirmed for the three dayer.
Headlining the festival, we have performances from world beating dance acts, Faithless and Leftfield. Literally, neither of these two should need any introduction. Faithless have produced some of the UK’s most appreciated dance music, as they were responsible for unleashing Insomnia and God Is a DJ. Equally, Leftfield have garnered a reputation as one of the UK’s most sought-after acts. Presumably they will be playing tracks from their Leftism album, which celebrates its 22nd anniversary this year, and still sounds as fresh as it did in 1995.
You can also catch Circus’ Yousef at the festival. Liverpool’s top dance export will undoubtedly be dropping a set that truly demonstrates his many years of experience at the helm of one of his home city’s most iconic club nights. With a raft of awesome solo productions under his belt, alongside some seriously impressive collaborative work, the scouse producer is certain to give attendees a party to remember.
There have been plenty more top acts announced for the festival, including DJ Hype, Serial Killaz, Campelphat, and Catz & Dogz. There is likely to be plenty more acts announced over the coming weeks, so keep your eyes firmly fixed to Nextfest for more news as it comes in.
Field Trip takes place 25th – 27th August at Gilcombe Farm, Bruton, Somerset.
