First Wave Of Glastonbury Acts Announced

More than 80 acts have been announced for Glastonbury 2017, including The xx, Katy Perry, The National, Biffy Clyro, Barry Gibb, Major Lazer and many more.

They join the previously announced headliners Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran at Worthy Farm this June.

Friday headliners Radiohead were the first to be announced back in October, before Foo Fighters revealed they are to headline Saturday night whilst performing at a secret show at Frome’s Cheese And Grain venue in February. They make their much anticipated appearance on the Pyramid Stage after having to pull out in 2015.

After many months of rumours, Ed Sheeran confirmed last month that he is Glastonbury’s third headliner. Having worked his way up through the smaller stages, the singer songwriter will be making his first appearance on the Pyramid Stage off the back of his record breaking new album ‘÷’ which continues to dominate the charts.
