Full Line-up Announced for Liverpool’s Sound City 2019

Sound City have announced their full line-up for 2019, with Shame, Blaenavon and Liverpool’s very own Tea Street Band entering the fray ahead of the festival’s 12th edition.

Taking place from 3rd – 6th May 2019, Sound City will once again be spread across at multiple venues in the Baltic Triangle area.

Now firmly established as one of the UK’s leading festivals for new music, Sound City is a definitive zeitgeist of sounds, styles and cerebral sessions. There’s a heady mix of amazing music along with with a world-class conference, Sound City+.

This year the festival have managed to curate their most eclectic line-up to date, mixing internationally established headliners with the most exciting up and coming artists from across the UK and beyond. Merseyside is well repped, too, with The Tea Street Band, Clean Cut Kid and Red Rum Club all among the main artists.

Leading the latest announcement are Shame, who will be bringing their cultured, anthemic magic to the Main Stage. Aussie outfit Confidence Man will be present to serve up a sublime dose of dance-pop joy, and will be joined by Blaenavon, King No-One and Kara Marini.

“We are building upon our sold-out edition last year, now firmly established back to our roots with the festival taking place in a range of intimate locations.”
