Glastonbury Announce 2017 Kidzfield Line-Up

Festivals notoriously provide attendees with the opportunity to escape life ‘as a grown-up’ and to re-acquaint themselves with their inner child. However, what if the attendees are children, and don’t need to dig deep to find that infantile innocence within us all?

Well, the organisers at Glastonbury Festival have got you covered, as they have just announced the line-up for their 2017 Kidzfield.

Featuring a wealth of children’s favourites, Kidzfield 2017 allows your little ones the opportunity to embrace festival culture in an area designed specifically for them. With acts that your kids will be familiar with, Kidzfield 2017 ensures a safe place for all children (big and small) to frolic fancy-free.

The roster for the three days features many children’s favourites from screen and stage, and offers music, theatre, workshops and much more that kids are sure to love. Kidzfield 2017 will see performances from world-famous illusionist Dynamo, who will astound and amaze with his box of mind-bending magic tricks, while Room on the Broom will be bringing their production expertise to the stage this year to entertain all.

Other acts include everyone’s favourite fox, Basil Brush, who is sure to raise plenty of belly laughs with his stage routine, and greenfingered gardening god, the BBC’s Mr Bloom will be bringing his horticultural antics to the Kidzfield. Additional activities include a climbing wall, stilt walkers, arts and crafts from Kajamagoo, frantic drumming fun from no less than two samba acts, Jamma da Samba and Samba George, and a wealth of other acts and activities to keep little ones entertained for the whole feastival.

Be warned, all adults MUST be accompanied by a child (or they’ll be grounded).

Kidzfield at Glastonbury Festival takes place 21 – 25 June at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset. For the full line-up, photos, videos and ticket information head over to our Glastonbury Festival page.
