Green Day, Yungblud, System Of A Down Announced for Rock am Ring 2020

Germany’s Rock am Ring Festival has announced its first set of artists for 2020, with Green Day, Yungblud, and System Of A Down all set to be unleashed upon the Nürburgring next summer.

Taking place from 5 – 7 June, the upcoming edition marks 35 years of Rock am Ring and 25 years of its sister festival, Rock im Park, which runs simultaniously with the same line-up.

2020 bill-toppers, Green Day, will arrive at the Nüremburg double-header as part of their huge Hella Mega Tour, on which they are accompanied by Weezer.

Elsewhere on the line-up, Danish band Volbeat take the third headlining slot, plus there’s room for Korn, Billy Talent, Deftones, and one of the UK’s most exciting new artists, Yungblud.

More than 150,000 are expected to turn out across the two venues, with three day passes currently up for grabs at 149€ (camping purchased seperately) for the Nürburgring venue, or 199€ (inc camping) for the inner-city Rock im Park.

If previous years are anything to go by, there are still plenty of huge names to be announced over the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled on NextFest for news as soon as it arrives!
