Hunee, Special Request, and More Confirmed for Gottwood 2018
Gottwood Festival seems to well and truly pull it out of the bag every year, having brought some of the hottest electronic acts to little old Anglesey every Summer. 2018 is no exception, it would seem, as the organisers have just released the first wave of confirmed acts, and this year looks set to be an absolute corker.
There seems to be a bit more of a focus on the live aspects of electronic music than there has in previous incarnations of Gottwood, with the talents of DMX Krew, Rival Consoles, Dark Sky, Romare, Rodrigues Jr., Africane 808, Weval, Ariwo, Febueder, Happy Meals, Wolf Müller & Niklas Wandt, and Tenderlonious & The 22archestra all enlisted to contribute their live talents.
A host of DJs are also confirmed to play, with some of the scene’s biggest names gracing what has fast become one of the UK’s most hotly anticipated electronic music events of the entire summer. It has clearly become a huge draw for artists, as we see the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Ben UFO, Commix, Subb-An and Maxxi Soundsystem all confirmed for spots behind the wheels.
Shed will be in full effect with his take on the Berlin techno sound, while d&b veteran Commix will be dropping amen breaks all over the place. We also recommend checking out Margaret Dygas, who will also be bringing the Berlin beats to Gottwood Festival.
You can check out the full released line-up below. Keep your eyes peeled on NextFest for more news on artists as it comes in.
Gottwood Festival takes place 7 – 10 June at Anglesey, Wales. For the full line-up, photos, videos and ticket information head over to our Gottwood Festival page.
