Junction 2 Announce First Acts for 2018 Festival
Junction 2 obviously did something right for the 2017 leg of their festival, which also happened to be their only their second outing. Focussing on setting techno artists against a backdrop that juxtaposes the natural with industrial settings, giving a sense of freedom while at the same time placing the techno sound against a backdrop that is familiar with its roots.
Saturday 9th June will see Junction 2 bringing another one-dayer to the Boston Manor Park, in West London, and they have a huge rake of artists already confirmed to play their one-day event in 2018, their third festival in as many years.
They bring a diverse range of electronic acts to the festival who come from all manner of nationalities around the globe. Here we have artists who have established themselves at the top of their game, brand new artists, back to back DJs, and artists who have worked hard over the decades prior to become legends in their own right.
Techno and its sub-genres are all represented at Junction 2, all by artists who are consistently pushing the envelope when it comes to this style of music. Confirmed hosts for two of the five stages include Adam Beyer’s Drumcode Records, as well as SONUS Festival.
So, what of the confirmed artists? Well, you’re in for a treat if you’re a techno fan. The roster includes sets from Adam Beyer himself, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, and Tale of Us. Also appearing will be Âme, Joy Orbison, Len Faki, Mind Against, Scuba Presents SCB and Sonja Moonear. Finally, you can catch Dense & Pika, Jay Clarke, Marcus Worgull, Nicolas Lutz, Trikk, and William Djoko.
Junction 2 Festival takes place on Saturday, June 9th, 2018 at Boston Manor Park, London. For the full line-up, photos, videos and ticket information head over to our Junction 2 Festival page.
