Junction 2 Lineup: Bicep, Adam Beyer, Daniel Avery & More Announced for 2019

On the back of their announcement that Junction 2 will be extending their festival to two days, organisers have just released the first list of names to be inhabiting their line-up in 2019.

Building on four years of success, the next edition of the festival looks set to be the biggest and best yet, with LWE bringing in a hugely impressive first wave of artists.

As we have previously reported, there will be a distinct difference between the two days at Junction 2 2019. Day one (which falls on Friday June 7th), will concentrate on a more melodic vibe, so expect house, disco, afrobeat.

Attendees can expect to see performances from Ninja Tune‘s Bicep, the outstanding Daniel AveryDaphniMotor City Drum Ensemble, and Call Super, who featured as the first recorded artist on Fabric‘s Houndstooth imprint.

Joining them on Friday will be Holland’s Job Jobse, who is a firm festival favourite, having played AVA and Dekmantel in the past 12 months. Peach will be offering up a healthy serving of house music, and Shanti Celeste will be closing out the Friday at Junction 2 2019.

Saturday stays true to the festival’s roots, with techno being the order of the day, here. The brilliant Dax J is the first name out of the hat, and his relentless style of techno is sure to get people stomping. Etapp Kyle is also confirmed for Junction 2, and the fantastic Imogen will be illustrating exactly why she is making waves right now.

Richie Hawtin will be making a very welcome Junction 2 debut, so expect you eardrums to take a thrashing, and Maceo Plex is also going to be featured on the Saturday of the festival. Obviously, Junction 2 wouldn’t be Junction 2 without the appearance of Adam BeyerIda Engberg, and Joseph Capriati.

Tickets for the festival are released on Thursday 1st November. Sign up to get yours, here.
