Justice Added to Wilderness Festival 2018 Line-Up

Wilderness Festival, which takes place at Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire, between August 2nd-5th, have just let loose one final ball from their announcement cannon, and by God have they pulled a neat little trick this year.

French ‘electro-house’ pioneers, Justice, have just been confirmed as the latest (and final) addition to the festival’s roster, which sees them joining a host of equally awesome acts, including Nile Rogers & Chic, !!! (CHK CHK CHK), Groove ArmadaDom Chung and George Fitzgerald.

The duo hit the festival’s main stage, bringing along with them their signature grungy house sound, which has made them one of the most in-demand and widely recognised French acts of the past decade.

2006 saw the pair rocking many a speaker with their anthem We are Your Friends, with its classic vocal hook and screaming synth-lines. This collaboration, with Simian Mobile Disco, led to their first album, Cross, and the pair achieved critical acclaim through their mashup style of rock and electronic music.

Fast forward four years and we see Justice releasing their second long player; Audio, Video, Disco. The album continued to push the envelope in terms of what sounds the Frenchmen were including in their productions – everything from electro, pop, and metal have seen the light of day in Justice tracks, and so it comes as no surprise that they are firm festival favourites, capable of lighting up the deadest of dancefloors and most flagging of fields.

The pair’s most recent album – 2016’s Woman – is due for a full overhaul this August, as the pair release their Woman Worldwide album, featuring a host of live interpretations of their tracks, curated during their various global tours.

Tickets for Wilderness Festival are still available and you can grab yours here. We suggest you are quick before all the Justice fans get in there before you do!
