Kendal Calling Festival Launches NYE Party in Manchester with Everything Everything & Tom Grennan
Kendal Calling is to swap the green fields of the Lake District for Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse this winter, as it hosts its first ever NYE party in the city.
Firmly established as one of the North West’s favourite festivals, Kendal Calling is well known for showcasing rock and indie music’s biggest names alongside exciting up-and-coming artists.
One such artist championed by the festival is NYE headliner Tom Grennan, whose debut LP Striking Matches reached #5 in the UK Albums Chart just before his performance on KC‘s Calling Stage back in July.
The Bedford born singer-songwriter took the festival season by storm this summer, performing at huge events such as TRNSMT, RiZE, and Y Not, and is currently touring his latest album around Europe.
Grennan is joined on headlining duty by Mancunian math-rock band Everything Everything, whose live shows are nothing short of spectacular. Having graced the stages of Victorious, Tramlines and Festival No6, the four-piece head back to their hometown to welcome 2019 in spectacular style.
Kendal Calling wouldn’t be the same without Tim Peaks Diner, which is a mainstay at the summer events, so they’ve invited the legendary Tim Peaks DJs along to join in the celebrations. They’re joined on the lineup by The Blinders, Felix Hagan & The Family and Howling Rythm DJs.
Early release tickets for Kendal Calling’s New Yeas Eve special are on sale now for just £29.50 (+booking fee).
