Kraftwerk Confirmed as Bluedot 2019 Headliners
If Bluedot are anything, it is most definitely consistent. The melding together of mind-boggling arts, mind-bending science, and mind-blowing music takes place nowhere else in the country, and they have done so since their festival launched back in 2016. Bluedot is truly unique and an inimitable experience that really needs to be on everybody’s bucket list.
Previous festivals have played host to some remarkable artists, including Orbital, New Order, DJ Shadow, DJ Yoda, Alt-J, The Chemical Brothers, and Jean-Michel Jarre, so you can imagine the magnitude of acts that are likely to play at 2019.
Speaking of which, the festival have just confirmed that Kraftwerk will be transmitting their art from the Lovell Stage, beneath the imposing radio telescope that bears the same name. This is going to be special.
For fans of electronic music (and probably just music in general) Kraftwerk are kind of a big deal. Techno fans will know them as pioneers of the genre, with tracks such as Tour de France, Computer Love, Pocket Calculator, and Trans-Europe Express. If you want to see a band who were at the forefront of music-meets-technology, then this is your chance. Not only that, but this is their first ever UK festival headline slot.
The show will comprise Kraftwerk performing their tracks live, accompanied by their groundbreaking 3D visual display.
Tickets for Bluedot 2019, which takes place between July 18th – 21st, go on sale at 10:00 on November 23rd. If it is Computer Love you’re after, then get your skates on because this is the kind of news that makes tickets sell out in minutes. See you on the Autobahn.
