LIMF 2018 Returns With Its Strongest Line-Up to Date
The line-up has been revealed for Liverpool International Music Festival‘s Sefton Park shindig, with Example and Wiley topping this year’s bill.
Set over two days – 21st and 22nd July 2018 – LIMF will be a ticketed event for the first time, having previously been free. However, at only £5 per day, the festival is still an absolute steal considering the acts on offer. Kids under 11 still go free, so we can confidently say that this remains to be one of the best-value urban festivals the UK has to offer.
Saturday 21st July has Example & DJ Wire headlining the Central Stage. They will be joined by grime’s ‘man of the hour’, Wiley, alongside Stefflon Don, Jax Jones, Not3s, and Mahalia. Sunday’s Central Stage antics will be overseen by the Hacienda Classical troupe, Bassment Jaxx, Aurora, Young Fathers, and Rae Morris.
The True School Club House will see Trevor Nelson, Jazzie B, and Danny Rampling bringing the noise on Saturday, while Sunday’s line-up on this stage features none other than DJ Jazzy Jeff, Gilles Peterson, and the fantastic Don Letts.
As if that wasn’t enough, the Shubz DJ Tent is likely to cause a ruckus, as they invite Toddla T, Tough Love, Ace, Seani B, and Rude Kid. Sunday sees the stage populated by Tim Westwood, Riton, Wide Awake and Jus Now.
LIMF takes place at Sefton Park, Liverpool, on Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd July 2018. Tickets for the festival are available to buy, here.
