Line-up Announced for Isle of Wight Festival 2019

The line-up has been revealed for Isle of Wight Festival 2019, with Noel Gallagher, George Ezra and Biffy Clyro topping this year’s bill.

Taking place from 13-16 June at Newport’s Seaclose Park, the legendary festival is now entering its 51st year after celebrating half a century last summer.

Friday (14th) sees the festival pull in a collection of indie rock powerhouses, with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds supported by fellow Mancunians and festival favourites Courteeners and James. There will also be a performance from Sydney-based band DMA’s – an absolute must-see if you’re into the Britpop sound.

After an incredible 2018 which included a sell-out tour of the UK, Gerry Cinnamon also heads to Isle of Wight 2019, as do Lily Allen and Wild Front.

Pop is the order of the day on Saturday, with George Ezra and his live band headlining the Main Stage. Before that, there will be performances from Bastille, Anne-Marie, Rick Astley and KT Tunstall. There will also be a special guest appearance from Fatboy Slim.

IOW’s closing night will be headlined by Scottish three-piece Biffy Clyro, whose thrilling live sets and stage setups have earned them a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting live acts.

Sunday evening will also feature a performance from British rock royalty Richard Ashcroft, who will be combining The Verve classics with fresh material from his 2018 LP Natural Rebel, for what will be one of the stand-out sets of the weekend.
