Liverpool’s Baltic Weekender Announce Headliners for 2017 Inaugural Festival
Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle has grown exponentially over recent years as THE place to be, for those in the know.
2017 sees the creative minds behind 24 Kitchen Street and Abandon Silence coming together with a whole host of promoters to bring some of the underground dance scene’s biggest names to the city.
This week, the collective announced three headliners to whet the appetites of those hoping to attend the festival, which strengthens a line-up which was already overflowing with exceptional artists.
The headliners include drum and bass royalty, Goldie, who will be playing a dnb classics set and demonstrating exactly why he’s been at the zenith point of his game for so long. Joining him will be the ever eclectic Hunee, who is not one to be scared of taking his sets on all sorts of twists and turns to get a crowd jumping; expect house, disco, and techno from the versatile artist. Finally, Crazy P Soundsystem have been brought in to offer live, soul-infused dance music for the masses.
The headliners join all manner of top acts, including house and disco DJ Gerd Jansen, bassline queen Flava D, and dubstep from Mele, amongst others. There are many more acts yet to be announced, so keep your eyes peeled on NextFest for updates on who has been added to the roster. No doubt the next wave of acts will be equally as exciting.
Liverpool’s Baltic Weekender takes place in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle area between the 2nd and 4th June.
