London’s Community Festival Announces First Wave of Acts for 2018
London’s one-day community festival, titled, funnily enough, Community, hits Finsbury Park for its second year in 2018, and organisers have announced the first slew of acts who will be gracing the stages at the London green space.
Taking place on July 1st, Community, encompasses some of the best indie and rock acts to have emerged in the past decade. With Finsbury Park being such a huge open space, expect the atmosphere to be highly charged.
As mentioned, Community organisers have announced several acts who are going to be playing during the day. The festival places some very well-known scenesters alongside acts who are emerging to join their peers at the top of the game.
Headliners include the brilliant Two Door Cinema Club, who have been a popular choice among indie fans since they came into the public consciousness with the release of their debut album, Tourist History, back in 2010.
Also on headline bill-topping duty are The Vaccines, who will be bringing their array of singalong anthems to Community, including tracks from Come of Age and English Graffiti, which hit the UK album chart at numbers 1 and 2 respectively.
You Me at Six will no doubt be entertaining fans during their performance, as they are confirmed to play the festival, as are Circa Waves, who will be performing their own spin on the indie rock sound.
Additional acts who can be guaranteed to give you sonic completeness are Rat Boy, Sundara Karma, Pale Waves, and Tom Grennan.
Community Festival takes place on July 1st at Finsbury Park, London. For the full line-up, photos, videos and ticket information head over to our Community Festival page.
