Looe Music Festival Reveals 2018 Line-up

Looe’s annual music festival by the sea has revealed its line-up for 2018, with aptly named folk-rockers The Waterboys topping this year’s bill.

The festival, which takes place from 21 – 23 September, is set to welcome a host of new and established artists to the Cornish coast to round off the summer season in style.

Friday night sees the incredible Steve ‘N’ Seagulls roll into town to rock the Main Stage. The Finnish five-piece shot to internet fame with their cover of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck, which has received more than 50 million views on YouTube, and have since released two albums.

Check out their unique spin on the rock and metal sound, below.

This year’s Saturday night headliners are The Waterboys, who head to LMF following the release of their latest album Out Of All This Blue, which came out in September 2017. Ticket holders can expect new material alongside classics such as The Whole Of The Moon, Fisherman’s Blues, and This Is The Sea.

There’ll be a further dose of rock ‘n’ roll courtesy of The Quireboys, who are certain to get everyone moving with feel-good tunes from their new White Trash Blues album. Expect to see plenty of air guitars amongst the crowd during this one.

Looe harbour will also welcome back some festival favourites in the form of Mad Dog Mcrea, The Correspondents, Uncle FrankWille and the Bandits, Gaz Brookfield and the Company of Thieves, and Bez of the Happy Mondays, who will be performing a DJ set.
