Manchester’s Neighbourhood Festival Adds The View, and More, to Line Up
Manchester’s Neighbourhood festival has announced a further wave of artists who are set to play at the October event. Taking place at venues across Manchester, with a raft of artists already confirmed, this looks set to be a belter of an event for the city.
The multi-venue event is one of the biggest the city has seen and joins one of several that operate in the North West, including the city’s Dot-to-Dot and Liverpool’s Sound City (before it became a single site festival).
Acts previously confirmed include Cabbage, Black Honey, The Orielles, The Amazons, and Superfood, who perform alongside headliners Ratboy and Peace. Acts will be performing around the city in various venues, including Underdog, Factory, Revolution Oxford Road, The Zoo, XOLO, Deaf Institute, Dog Bowl, Gorilla, Sound Control, The Union MMU, The O2 Ritz, and The Albert Hall. So, plenty of running around for YOU to do on October 7th!
The latest artists to be announced include The View who, this year, celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album, Hats Off to the Buskers. The Subways will be staging a return to live performance also, as they have been added to the bill. They have been concentrating on studio work since their last outing.
Further acts added to the lineup include Yungblud, Yonaka, The Old Pink House, Team Picture, Swimming Tapes, Strange Bones, Sea Girls, Sam Fender, River Matthews, RedFaces, Pip Blom, Party Hardly, Oddity Road, October Drift, No Hot Ashes, Nulifer Yanya, Nikhil D’Souza, Neon Waltz, Nathan Ball, Lyra, Isaac Gracie, Hey Charlie, Haunt the Woods, Fling, Flatline Stereo, Feet, David Kennan, Caro, Zak Abel, The Big Moon, Get Inuit, Fazerdaze, and Billy Locket.
Manchester Neighbourhood Festival takes place Saturday, 7th October, at various venues across the south of Manchester.
