More Than 70 New Artists Added to Reading & Leeds 2019 Line-up

Reading & Leeds have further bolstered their 2019 line-up with the addition of 70 new names, including Machine Gun Kelly, King Princess and Grime’s hottest new prospect, Dave.

The two festivals, which run simultaneously across the August Bank Holiday Weekend, will both feature the same line-up of artists.

Arguably the most high profile of the new additions is Machine Gun Kelly, partly through his ongoing feud with Eminem, which inspired his Rap Devil diss track, now at 200million views on YouTube. He plays the BBC Radio 1 Stage (Reading Friday, Leeds Sunday).

BBC Radio 1 Stage headliner, Dave, will be arriving with fresh material from his new Psychodrama album, having already reached to top of the UK Singles Chart with Funky Friday. He’s joined on the bill by frequent collaborator, Fredo. (Reading Friday, Leeds Saturday).

Elsewhere, Dillon Francis will be bringing his feel-good dance tunes to the R1 Dance Stage, along with other new additions Dimension and Mella Dee. Meanwhile, there will be brand new music from some of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists, including Sea Girls, Black Honey and Zuzu.

The 70 new artists join R&L’s previously announced headliners, Foo Fighters, The 1975, Twenty One Pilots and Post Malone. Check out the full line-up, below.
