Neighbourhood Weekender Reveal 2019 Line-up, Headlined by George Ezra, Richard Ashcroft
One of the best rock and indie festivals that the North West has to offer, Neighbourhood Weekender, have just unveiled their line-up, and we can safely say that organisers have built on the success of 2018’s excursion, to bring you a mighty fine selection of artists for their 2019 edition.
The festival takes place at Warrington’s Victoria Park, between May 25th – 26th, for two days of indie, from an impressive selection of artists. Headlining the first day of the festival is George Ezra, who brings his taste of Americana via Hertfordshire. The Budapest songwriter has plenty to offer a crowd, not least his impressive baritone voice!
Organisers keep things on a North-West tip, with Sunday’s headliner being Wigan-born Richard Ashcroft. The ex-Verve frontman has forged a strong solo career for himself since the band split, supporting Noel Gallagher at Lancashire County Cricket Club most recently. He has plenty of anthemic tracks to get involved in, so is sure to go down well at Neighbourhood 2019.
Ezra is joined on Saturday’s bill by Scottish band, Primal Scream, whose indie-rock leanings gave way to a more dancey vibe with the release of Screamadelica. You Me At Six, Nothing But Thieves, Tom Grennan, and The Hunna also feature.

Sunday sees Ashcroft‘s headline slot supported by The Vaccines, who have a shedload of songs with immediate singalong value. Also playing on the second day are Slaves, The Charlatans, Gerry Cinnamon, and The Amazons.
Tickets for the festival go on sale this Friday (November 16th) at 09:30, so you might want to be poised for a stampede as we reckon they’ll fly out.
