NOS Primavera Sound Announces Solange, Erykah Badu & More for 2019
NOS Primavera Sound Festival returns for its eighth edition in Portugal this year, featuring a host of impressive names across multiple genres.
The festival takes place in Porto’s Parque de Cidade, between June 6th – June 8th, and with tickets starting at as little as 61€(+booking fee), there are lots of reasons to make the journey, particularly when you see who is playing…
Included in today’s line-up announcement are standout performances from Interpol, who have amassed a cult following since the launch of their second long-player, Antics. Also on the roster are Stereolab, who have recently reformed, much to the delight of their fans. They top the Saturday line-up alongside Solange.
Erykah Badu will be providing a soulful headline set, and poetic hip-hop purveyor, Kate Tempest is to deliver one of her moving recitals on the Sunday.
Further acts confirmed today are Siberia’s techno queen, Nina Kraviz, electronica duo Modeselektor, the ‘black Brad Pitt’ AKA Danny Brown, and Jarvis Cocker, who brings with him an all-new show to delight spectators. Yves Tumor will be in full effect with their leftfield take on the pop sound, and on a similarly poppy tip, we have Mura Masa.
