Paloma Faith to Headline Nottingham’s Splendour Festival 2018
Brit Award winning artist, Paloma Faith, is back with her energetic live show, this time for a very special 10th anniversary performance to help Splendour celebrate a decade of events.
The festival takes place at Nottingham’s Woolaton Park on Saturday July 21st. Currently, Paloma is the only artist to be confirmed, although there are more big announcements on their way, so keep your eyes peeled as NextFest will be ready with more info as it comes in.
The confirmation comes following Faith’s most recent album release; 2017’s The Architect, which reached the number one spot upon its release last year, illustrating exactly why Paloma comes with such critical acclaim.
The album features collaborations with some of her leading peers, including the immensely popular Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, John Legend, and the brilliant Samuel L. Jackson even makes an appearance!
Of course, 2017 wasn’t the first time Paloma Faith had seen immeasurable success (the album is on the way to double platinum, no less). Her first album hit the charts in 2009, and was followed by three further studio albums, meaning that to this day she has spent over 50 weeks in the UK album chart.
With Adele being the only UK female artist to have pipped Paloma to the post in terms of accolades, you can be pretty sure that you’re in for a hell of a show when Splendour rolls around.
Splendour Festival takes place on Saturday 21st July 2018 at Nottingham’s Woolaton Park. For more details, plus photos, videos and ticket info, head to our Splendour 2018 event page.
