Primavera Sound Unveil Huge 2019 Line Up
Primavera Sound. What can we say? Consistently delivering on line-ups in the Barcelona behemoth’s business, but the roster for the 2019 edition of the Spanish festival is gearing up to be a real firecracker on the European festival circuit. With previous excursions seeing the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Bjork, we were absolutely certain that their next festival was going to be a big one, and Primavera Sound 2019 is living up to expectations if their first phase line-up is anything to go by.
“Just bloody tell us who is on the bill, will you?!” we hear you cry. OK then, we will! May 30th to June 19th sees a host of incredible artists gracing the Primavera stages. Headline slots have been doled out to Erykah Badu, FKA Twigs, Interpol, Future, Nas, Mac Demarco, Christine and the Queens, Courtney Barnett, Charli XCX, Guided by Voices, Tame Impala, Cardi B, Janelle Monáe, Robyn, Carly Rae Jepsen, Suede, Liz Phair, Mura Masa, Ivy Queen, Jawbreaker, Solange, J Balvin, Rosalia, James Blake, Stereolab (who will be performing as a band for the first time since 2009 – heavy!), Kali Uchis, Jarvis Cocker introducing Jarv Is, Róisín Murphy, Modeselektor, Pusha T, and Richie Hawtin will be closing on the final day.
There are plenty more artists confirmed for what is shaping up to be perhaps one of the biggest and best line-ups that Europe’s festivals have to offer. You can check out the full line-up on the poster below, but we imagine that your sweaty little fingers are already ticket-twitching. Here’s a link to go and buy yours. Hurry up!
