Reading & Leeds Announce 50 New Artists Including Royal Blood, Anderson .Paak

Reading & Leeds have added an extra 50 artists to their 2019 line-up, with Royal Blood, Anderson .Paak and Bastille entering the fray.

Taking place across the August Bank Holiday (23 – 25 August), the legendary rock double-header has diversified in recent years to cover a much broader musical spectrum.

2019 sees the two festivals, which share the same line-up, continue in the same vein, adding a broad-ranging variety of artists to the previously announced headliners The 1975Post MaloneTwenty One Pilots and Foo Fighters.

The most recent additions include Royal Blood, who will once again be unleashing their juggernaut rock sounds on the Main Stage, as will Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.

Meanwhile Anderson .Paak heads to Reading & Leeds for the first time, and will be arriving with fresh material from his new LP, Oxnard. Hailing from California, US, the singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist is one of the most exciting live performers out there, and is an absolute must-see this August Bank Holiday.

Elsewhere, the BBC Radio 1 Stage features an equally eclectic bill of artists, headlined by Mura Masa and Bastille. The festival’s traditional rock and indie theme is well repped by the likes of Circa Waves, Pale Waves and The Amazons, plus there’ll be a generous serving of synth-pop from Chvrches.

As always, there will be an extensive line-up of electronic artists spread across the dance arenas, from house and disco courtesy of Denis Sulta and Honey Dijon through to the bass-heavy sounds of Andy C, Crucast and sasasas.

There will also be a special performance from electro-rock heavyweights Enter Shakiri, who headline The Pit.
