Rick Astley, Clean Bandit & Simple Minds to Headline Camp Bestival 2018

26th-29th July sees Camp Bestival returning to Lulworth Castle, Dorset, for another weekend of family fun. A seafaring theme sees organisers inviting adults and young ones alike aboard their merry ship, as they set sail on sonic adventures into the unknown.

Promising “…incredible spectacles, joyous music, amazing food, luxury camping and tons of fun for all the family…”, we’re pretty sure that there will be something for everyone when the great ship Bestival drops anchor on the Dorset coast.

The idea behind Camp Bestival is to remain inclusive to all ages, allowing children to enjoy themselves just as much as the grown-ups. With a boatload of entertainment geared towards the nippers, you can rest assured that they will be well catered for.

Family shows, and entertainment, come courtesy of favourites along the lines of Mr. Tumble, who is always a hit with the younger children based on the success of his televised excursions on his BBC show. Your little ones can also get up to, undoubtedly, a little mischief as Dick and Dom enter the fray.

In terms of ‘stuff for the grown ups’, musically you are offered a healthy bounty, with healdiners being Simple Minds, Clean Bandit, and Rick Astley.

The electronic side of things will also be well represented by Orbital, Basement Jaxx, and Jaguar Skills, while, if you’re on an indie tip, you can catch up with Shed Seven, The Undertones, and Jesus Jones.

Extra-curricular activities come from Spinney Hollow Woodland Crafts, Art Town, and even Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s River Cottage will be making an appearance. If that isn’t enough to put wind in your sails, then we don’t know what is.
