Snowbombing Lineup: Stormzy, The Prodigy & Fatboy Slim Announced for 2019
Snowbombing are celebrating their 20th anniversary in April 2019, and you’re all invited.
The festival, which takes place in Mayrhofen, Austria, has consistently pushed the envelope when curating their lineups, providing one of Europe’s best snow-based music events since 1999.
This year promises to be a big one, particularly as they have just announced three massive names will be topping their roster.
First up is Stormzy, who brings his electrifying live show to the Mayrhofen mountains for a headlining set. The MOBO-winning rapper has been wowing crowds across the UK and Europe over the summer with material from 2014’s Dreamer’s Disease and 2017’s Gang Signs & Prayer.
Also announced are the original firestarters, The Prodigy. The veteran ravers are due to release their new album, titled No Tourists, on November 2nd (2018), so they’ll be firing on all cylinders with new material for their Snowbombing performance. That’s not to say you won’t be hearing classics from the crew.
The third headliner to be announced is Mr Big Beat himself, Norman Cook, AKA Fatboy Slim. Norman has been doing it for donkey’s years, having started out, commercially, in The Housemartins, before garnering solo acclaim as Beats International.
Perhaps his most famous permutation, though, is Fatboy Slim, who will be slaying crowds with tracks like The Rockafeller Skank, and UK number one hit, Praise You.
Further acts added to the bill include Andy C, Bicep, Groove Armada, Denis Sulta, Hannah Wants, Artwork, Skream, Maribou State (DJ Set), Hunee, Eats Everything, Monki, James Zabiela, Solardo, Saoirse, Melé, Doorly, Special Request, Craig Charles, Cassy, Barely Legal, and Waze & Odyssey.
Snowbombing 2019 is set to take place between April 8th-13th, at Mayrhofen in Austria. Tickets are available now, and you can grab yours right here. Check out the flyer, below, for more details.
